Customer has a copper water line that is leaking. While repairing leak they would also like us to re configure hose bib and install a new more accessible shut off valve.
Replaced spud for toilet. Upon removal of old one I noticed toilet had some sharp burrs where spud was located. Sanded down burs and re connected valve. Flushed several times and did not see any other leaks
Customer wishes to have estimates to repair two separate leaks. One being on top of hot side of water heater and the other being on a T where an old check valve is located.
Removed old union that was leaking. Noticed there was a chip out of the union which was causing it to leak. Replaced with new inch and a half union. Turned valve back on and didn’t notice any further leaks.
Customer reports random fluctuations with water pressure entering the house. Explained to customer that this could be due to several different issues such as filtration system or failed pressure regulator. Recommended eliminating filtration system and bypassing it in order to see if this helps with pressure issue. If this has no effect then we recommend replacing customers 1 1/4 pressure regulator.
Customers toilet was loose, tightened up bolts. Customers two acrylic showers upstairs didn’t have any caulking around the seems. Added caulking. Customer also reported pressure issues with some of the upstairs bathrooms. Increased customers water pressure to 70psi and seemed to help out a bit.
